Thread veins are found all over the body, but can only be treated with this method on the face, neck and chest. This treatment involves using a short wave diathermy current to cauterise the blood supply to the vein causing it to disappear.
Treatment is similar to electrolysis except the needle does not go into the skin. It just touches the skin and causes cauterisation of the thread vein, within 48 hours the area will produce a very fine scab which well looked after will fall off within 2 weeks leaving you with a clear complexion within 6 weeks.
