What are Skin Boosters?

Skin boosters are injectables that improve skin texture, elasticity, hydration and overall appearance. Skin booster treatment involves injecting hyaluronic acid which is a soft, gel-like substance under the skin, which improves the skin's elasticity, firmness and radiance giving an overall GLOW.

After just a single course of Profhilo, which involves 2 injectable treatments 4 weeks apart, you can expect to see intense hydration. It makes the skin glow and fine lines disappear. You’ll notice smoother, tighter skin. The treatment can be repeated after six months in cases where more repair is desired.  We recommend no more than 4 sessions per year.

WHO IS PROFHILO FOR?

Most commonly Profhilo is used is clients 35+ to help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. PRE CARE

POST CARE

  • Drink 2/3l of water per day following the treatment.
  • Avoid massaging the area the lumps should subside within 2 weeks.
  • Avoid alcohol 48hrs post treatment to reduce bruising.
  • Avoid blood thinning medication and anti-inflammatory drugs for the next 7 days.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and heat 48hrs post treatment.
  • Avoid any facial procedures for 2 weeks post treatment.
  • Avoid strenuous exercise 48hrs after your treatment.
  • Avoid using make up and any other products in the area 6 hours post treatment.
  • Avoid touching the area 6 hours post treatment.
  • Any discoloration, intense pain, abnormal swelling that persists for longer than 3 days please consult your Technician or a Doctor.
